Easy to stop. Hard to stay stoped. I read Evil-Edna's entry about smoking earlyer today. I know it is not easy to give up as I have done on several occassions. It has been over 7 years but there are still times when I feel like having a smoke. In my last attempt I switched to rolling my own which ment I could reduce the amount of tobacco in each one, also reduced what it was costing per week to smoke by 50%, and then I made a rule of leaving at lest an hour between smokes. I was down to a maxium of 2 days worth of tobacco when I decided to stop when that amount was finished. I made very skinny cigerates and the tobacco lasted 4 days. Durring the 2nd and 3rd days I was feeling the withdrawl effects and on the 5th day, the 1st without smoking, I did not seem to feel the withdrawl effects as much as on previous attempts. It is easy to stop. It is very hard to stay off them, even years later.
